Stop Posing Your Couples Learn to Direct Them and Catch Real Emotion
The step-by-step method I use to keep a session moving, get a genuine reaction out of any couple, and shoot work that puts you in a different bracket.
THE MARKET HAS CHANGED
Today, couples aren't looking for perfect poses. They're looking for real moments.
If your sessions don't create genuine connection, your photos might look beautiful... but they won't be memorable.
And in today's crowded market, looking like everyone else means getting overlooked.
From couples who freeze to couples who forget the camera is there.
Stop walking away from every shoot with a card full of technically correct photos nobody stops scrolling for.
Every session starts from the same blank page.
You open the guide and know exactly what to say.
Do any of these sound familiar?
If you said yes to even one, The Art of Directing was made for you.
The frozen couple They were laughing two seconds ago. You raise the camera and neither of them knows what to do with their hands.
The same five poses You shoot the safe frames every time, because getting it wrong in front of a paying couple is terrifying.
The price ceiling You'd like to charge what the work is worth, but you end up competing on price instead.
The invisible feed The light is right, the focus is right, and the photo still gets scrolled past.
The awkward first ten minutes You meet the couple with no plan to break the ice, so the whole shoot starts stiff.
This is what happens when you stop posing and start directing.
The same method I use shooting weddings across Europe and Latin America, with couples from anywhere in the world.
Everything you need to direct a session, page by page.
No theory in here. Every page is a photograph, the line to say out loud, and the settings it was shot at.
The direction system
Instead of improvising in front of a couple who's waiting on you: open the guide, pick the frame, read the line, copy the settings, shoot.

The 4 Golden Rules
How to prep your couple and break the ice before the first frame.

Light, Location & Camera
Read a scene, work out what it's asking for, and take everything the location has to give.

Emotional Connection
The direction that gets a genuine reaction instead of a polite smile.

Movement, Play & Spontaneity
Get them moving so the photo happens on its own and nothing looks posed.

Intimate Details
The close frames that make a gallery feel like their story instead of a catalogue.

Creative Frames
The shots that make a couple book you instead of the photographer down the road.
This is what's in your hand on the day.
It isn't a mood board. Every page: a photograph, the line to say out loud, and the settings it was shot at.

What photographers are saying after getting the guide
“This guide gave me so much confidence. I used to show up to sessions feeling nervous, but now I know exactly how to guide my couples. The difference in my photos is unbelievable.”
“Everything finally clicked for me. Having every prompt organized by moment makes sessions flow naturally, and my couples are so much more relaxed. They absolutely loved the experience.”
“I love that every photo includes exactly what to say. I've already used so many of these prompts, and my galleries feel more genuine and emotional than ever before.”
“I tried it during a couple session last weekend, and everything just flowed. My couples looked relaxed, laughed naturally, and nothing felt forced. I'd never had a session feel that effortless.”
“This honestly rescued my sessions. I was running out of ideas, and now I have endless prompts that create real moments instead of awkward poses. My couples notice the difference too.”
“I've bought a lot of photography education over the years, and nothing explains this part of the process like this guide. It feels like having an experienced photographer coaching you through every session.”
Who's behind this guide?
I'm Nati, born and raised in Argentina. I came to photography almost by accident, and it turned into the career that showed me the world.
In 2016 I built Luna de Gras, took it international, and got to put my two obsessions together: travelling and telling love stories. I've shot weddings in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, London, Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
I'm so grateful for what this work has given me that I want to hand you everything I learned, so you can build your own version of it.
The questions I get every time
No, it's built for exactly that moment. Every photo comes with the line to say and the camera settings, so you can use it on your very next session even if you've never directed anyone in your life. Photographers who already run a studio use it too, for the ideas they've run out of.
Instantly. The download link lands in your email the second the payment goes through. It's a PDF, so save it to your phone and it comes with you to every shoot. No app, no login, no waiting.
No. Every direction in here works with the body and lens you already own. The settings are a suggestion, not a requirement. What changes the photo is what you say to the couple, not what you're holding.
No. It works on engagements, elopements, couples sessions, anniversary shoots and pre-wedding days. Anywhere there are two people and a camera, the direction is the same, which is why a lot of buyers use it to open a whole second line of bookings.
Yes. They're built for Lightroom desktop and Lightroom mobile (the free app works). They install in a click and each one carries 280+ adjustments, so they hold up across different light instead of only working on one kind of photo.
You have 30 days. Email me and I refund you in full: no forms, no explanations, no runaround. The risk sits with me, not with you.
Your next session can be improvised. Or it can be directed.
